Il nostro B&B si trova nella posizione ideale per raggiungere incantevoli luoghi in poco tempo; infatti Vezzano Ligure è un comune servito benissimo dai collegamenti viari: la strada statale Aurelia SS1, l’autostrada Parma- La Spezia A15 e Genova- Livorno A12 con l’uscita Vezzano Ligure e le stazioni FFSS di Vezzano Ligure e di La Spezia. Nel raggio di 30 Km si possono visitare splendide mete ambite dai turisti di tutto il mondo: se amate la Toscana eccovi le Alpi Apuane, ideali sia per chi ama l’alpinismo, sia per chi vuole visitare le cave da cui si estrae il marmo, la Versilia, con le sue spiagge e le numerose discoteche meta del Jet Set internazionale, e la Lunigiana, terra che ha preso il nome dall’antica città romana di Luni, ricca di castelli e borghi medievali. Spingendosi ancora più a sud ecco Pisa: ci sembra inutile parlare della Torre Pendente, del Battistero…. Se amate la Liguria, il Golfo dei poeti è il primo assaggio della nostra regione. Procedendo nel Golfo amato da Byron, Shelley, Soldati ed altri letterati, da est ad ovest, ecco subito Lerici, con l’imponente mole del castello ora sede del Museo Geopaleontologico e le sue frazioni gioiello, Tellaro, Fiascherino, San Terenzo, vecchi borghi di pescatori nei quali si respira l’aria di salmastro e di vecchi sapori; è la volta poi della città della Spezia che vi accoglie con i suoi giardini botanici, i musei ed il porto militare. Infine all’altra estremità del Golfo ecco Portovenere, perla incastonata su un promontorio di fronte all’isola Palmaria, circondata dalle mura difensive e con la Chiesa romanica di San Pietro a picco sul mare, costruita sul vecchio tempio romano dedicato a Venere. Ma non è finita qui! Risalendo la strada Litoranea si arriva alle Cinque Terre, patrimonio mondiale dell’Unesco: è un incanto per la vista e appena le vedrete capirete perché! Noi vi consigliamo anche una visita nel nostro borgo di Vezzano Ligure, la Torre Pentagonale, la Chiesa Romanica, le vecchie vie medievali, la simpatia e la disponibilità della gente unite ad un’ottima cucina vi faranno vedere che non è tempo perso….anzi!
The Bed and Breakfast "La luce nel bosco" is situated in an ideal position to get to enchanting places in a short time. In fact Vezzano Ligure is near Aurelia (SS1), the entrance for the highways Parma-La Spezia (A15) and Genova-Livorno (A12), and the railway stations of Vezzano Ligure and La Spezia. Within a radius of 30 Kilometers, you can visit splendid places which tourists from all over the world dream of: if you like Tuscany here are Alpi Apuane, ideal both if you like mountaineering and if you wish to see the marble quarrys; Versilia, with its beaches and discotheques that are a well known destination for the international Jet Set; Lunigiana, named after the ancient Roman country of Luni, rich in medieval castles and suburbs. If you go southwards, here is Pisa: we hardly need to talk about the Leaning Tower, the Baptistery, etc. If you love Liguria, the Gulf of Poets is the best demonstration of our region. Moving from east to west in the Gulf beloved by Byron, Shelley, Soldati and a lot of other men of letters, here is Lerici with its imposing castle, now the centre of the Geopaleontologic Museum, and its beautiful jewel hamlets Tellaro, Fiascherino and San Terenzo, old villages of fishermen where you can breathe brackish air and old flavours; then you can meet La Spezia: it receives you with its botanic garden, its museums and the naval port. Finally, at the opposite end of the Gulf, here is Portovenere, a pearl set in the promontory in front of the Palmaria Island, surrounded by defensive walls and with the romanic church of San Peter - built on an old roman temple dedicated to Venus - descending sheer into the sea. This not the whole story, however; if you run along the Shore Street, you can get to Five Lands, part of the UNESCO World Heritage: Riomaggiore, Manarola, Monterosso, Vernazza and Corniglia these are the five villages you will be bewitched by. We suggest you also a visit to our village Vezzano Ligure, with its Pentagonal Tower, the Romanic Church, the old medieval roads, the liking and the availability of the people united with a excellent cooking convince you that your time not wasted….on the contrary!
